Artifact:

I have been waiting for this subject to be debated in the class and here it comes last week of classes. i believe that we should have censorship on our art, but not on what artist do. i think that artists and everybody should have their freedom to express what ever they want. But i believe that there should not be sculptures of naked men and women in the streets. I come from a Muslim country and as a Muslim i see it somehow disrespectful when i walk in the street and see a naked sculpture of a lady in the street. i understand the history behind it but i do not believe this is the right place for it to be. such things should be place in museums not only for people who are conservative but also for children. i see it quite wrong for a child to see a naked sculpture in front of him specially if he was young and still did not know much about differences in sex. however, we still have the problems of gov. censoring the people on what to write. it is hard to say if this is wrong or right. because a gov. has to do so for their reputation on what is said in their streets, so does that mean that they are allowed to censor their people?

Reflectional:

this is a very complicated topic. in my opinion that we should allow people to draw and do what ever they want, but i think that adult contents should not be visible in the streets. governments always try to censor what is said and told in the streets but that is their objective, i am not saying that is right, but imagine a country where the citizens know everything their government did wrong i do not think that will end up as a country within a matter of days.

i have posted this picture because yes i believe not showing the other side of the story is like having a country who all the citizens are blind. i believe that people who want to find the truth can find it, but i think a government would only hide something for the benefit of its citizens, which does not mean what they are doing is right.

Future Statement:

i think that this a subject that will stay debatable for years, and i believe that people would never agree on what is to be censored and what to not, but i do not mind arguing with anybody who wants to open this subject.
